Heard on the grape vine that a new FP Wing is gonna form at Waddington. It was signed off by the big wigs in London earlier this week. Its gonna be 8wg and based in the old AWACS building at Waddington

Someone here dropped this on me the other day. There will be a new Squadron which will be 58 Sqn.
Funny how all those rumours about cuts and merges keep resulting in the RAF Regiment expanding... Obviously they provide much better value for money than other "ventures".

58 is gen at Leuchars as my mate who is a flt sgt is post there in march.
