And yes I am in the picture, TimP may recognise some of the faces

I was posted off 19 the year before. All our previous battlecamps had been to Sennybridge. Fast forward in time 3 years and I find myself in the NAAFI at bloodhound camp with my TA unit (Left Regt Oct 89) whilst standing in line with my mouth breathing chav new comrades I looked up to see on the wall 19Sqn camp photo starring all my old muckers! I have seldom felt so lost and missing those days.

Jam, I've still got the Sqn Photo, but its to big to scan in but I will have a go? :niceone:

What TA mob J D, just out of interest :)

I joined 10 Para at Blackheath London a week after leaving the Mob. I transferred to a more local Engineer Sqn the following year at Dartford Kent and was there 9 years. 10 Para were sadly very poor in compared to the Regiment. Lot's of poser's who never turned up for weekends eg a coach was laid on to take us to Otterburn, only 4 blokes turned up! The Engineer unit (EOD) were a slightly older mature group without too much of the ego.My first love is and always will be our blessed, warts and all Regt. :salute:
