Yep... and every time you degrade it's history you degrade the unit(s) involved.

The relocation of TQCS puts the final nail in the coffin of my time in the Corps. RAF Catterick is now Marn Barracks a Pongo Shit hole of the first order. Although you can still see the old perry track and runway. RAF West Raynham is a broken down wreck. Wildenrath is in the hands of the German Army and finally Uxbridge is gone aswell. I have nowhere left to re visit. Don't know why but i feel like something very important has gone and taken a part of me with it. QCS 1979-1984 West Raynham 1984-1985 Wildenrath 1985-1989 West Raynham 1989-1992 then demob. :cry:

Cheers lads. I was having a bit of a senior moment. Your right the Corps isn't the sum of it's bases. You can take a drink in the worlds biggest shithole, the quality is in the company you keep.
