Hi,
My 17 year old Grand Daughter passed her driving test this morning.
She has most of the cash saved for a decent second hand car through hard work.
I'm so proud of her.
Regards, Mcik. D

Hi Bill, Thanks for the offer, but she can handle herself well, so her school told us And I did achieve the dizzy heights of Yellow Belt in Tae Kwon-Do whilst serving at RAF Seletar. The instructor was Korean. No chance of any high kicks to the head now, but with my Walking Stick a prod in the right place from this old duffer would do the job. Kris T was asking after you, I hope to get him out for a bit of nosh this coming Wednesday, but life is hitting the both of us pretty hard. There was one Wednesday we just stayed in at his place drank Tea and chatted. Keep well mate. Regards, Mick. D.

Mick I started my karate career at the Tae Kwon Do Club in Seletar. The instructor was John Chew who was a first Dan Black Belt Singapore Chinese. Here we are 47 years later and I am still training although have moved a bit past yellow belt. As you might expect. Give my very best wishes to Kris and the same to your good self. You know Mick you have no idea how much I would love just to sit down and have a cuppa with yourself and Kris and while away an afternoon just chatting, that would be wonderful. Enjoy it mate as these times are only loaned to us.
Just thinking about your instructor the only Korean that I knew to be there in the late 60s to early 70s was Rhee Kee Ha who left Singapore under a cloud and became the regional director of TKD Malaysia. Might have been the same snoozer.
