Hi Mark, Yet another British tradition gone I enjoyed watching their displays, they took nerve and skill. Regards, Mick D.

You said it, Bill. I saw them about a month ago at Colchester. Great ambassadors for HM forces.

I suppose we should scuttle HMS Victory too. I mean, it way past it's "Sell by" too...

Now if they ever tried to do that I would make the trip to the UK and chain myself to the gates of the Naval Dockyard at Portsmouth (suffragette style) and self abuse until they cut the chains. Not a pretty sight I can tell you.

Speaking of HMS Victory, I saw her just last week, still looking magnificent. I visited the Mary Rose exhibition, that too is very good. All very expensive now though.

Took the wife and her sister there two years ago. We were having such a good time, we overstayed by half an hour on the car park. It was a lock up one. But the car park attendant was such a good sport he keep' it open until we arrived. Apparently he says this happens a lot so was use to it.

Every time that I visit the UK I make a point of visiting the Naval Dockyard and going on board HMS Victory. Just love that ship and the history attached to it. Without the Victory we would have lost the battle of Trafalger and without winning the battle Brittania wouldn't have ruled the waves and we wouldn't have built an Empire.

Was it just me or could I hear "Land of hope and glory" playing in the background? I agree with you Bill.
